The conference will take place at University Fernando Pessoa, which is situated in Porto, next to a pleasant garden, Jardim d’Arca d’Água. It is easily accessible by car, by bus, by tube and by taxi. There are bus stops to the city centre and a taxi stand just outside the University. The venue is a lovely building – Edifício das Pós-graduações (Postgraduate building) – in a very convenient and comfortable room.

If you are taking the subway:
1) you should take take the subway 'violet line' (that's line E) until Trindade station.
2) Then you should take line D (the yellow line) until the nearest stop to the university, which is Pólo Universitário.
After you get to the Pólo Universitário metro station, the University buildings are within walking distance, but it should take you at least 10 minutes to get here.
